Беларусь — суверенное государство, независимость которого последовательно нарушается российскими властями через политическое и экономическое давление, размещение военной инфраструктуры и вмешательство во внутреннюю политику страны.
Размещение российских военных объектов, использование беларусской инфраструктуры российской армией и подчинение экономики страны военным нуждам России создают риски как для Украины, так и для всего региона. С территории Беларуси наносились удары российскими ракетами, а с 2023 года там размещено российское тактическое ядерное оружие — это напрямую угрожает жителям приграничных регионов и повышает риск эскалации.
Беларусское общество отвергает войну и использование своей страны плацдармом для агрессии. Режим Александра Лукашенко, удержавшийся у власти благодаря российской военной и политической поддержке после фальсификации выборов 2020 года и жестокого подавления протестов, превратил Беларусь в соучастника российской агрессии — в обмен на сохранение собственной власти. Эта сделка между двумя авторитарными режимами грубо нарушает суверенитет беларусского народа и нормы международного права, и ответственность за нее несут обе стороны.
Мы заявляем о безусловной поддержке демократических сил и гражданского общества Беларуси, мы разделяем их позицию относительно независимой, суверенной Беларуси, свободной от внешнего политического и военного диктата. Демократическая Россия будет рассматривать демократическую Беларусь как равноправного партнера и будет выстраивать отношения в интересах двух народов.

Belarus is a sovereign state whose independence has been consistently violated by the Russian authorities through political and economic pressure, the deployment of military infrastructure, and interference in the country’s domestic politics.
The deployment of Russian military facilities, the use of Belarusian infrastructure by the Russian army, and the subordination of the country’s economy to Russia’s military needs create risks both for Ukraine and for the entire region. Russian missile strikes have been launched from Belarusian territory, and since 2023 Russian tactical nuclear weapons have been stationed there — this directly threatens residents of border regions and increases the risk of escalation.
Belarusian society rejects the war and the use of its country as a staging ground for aggression. Alexander Lukashenko’s regime, which has held onto power thanks to Russian military and political support following the falsification of the 2020 elections and the brutal suppression of protests, has turned Belarus into an accomplice in Russian aggression — in exchange for preserving its own power. This deal between two authoritarian regimes grossly violates the sovereignty of the Belarusian people and the norms of international law, and both sides bear responsibility for it.
We declare our unconditional support for the democratic forces and civil society of Belarus, and we share their position on an independent, sovereign Belarus, free from external political and military dictate. A democratic Russia will regard a democratic Belarus as an equal partner and will build relations in the interest of both peoples.
